Itineraries

Day 1

... / Lima

Arrival to Lima, reception and transfer to select Hotel. Overnight. Check in 15:00hrs.

Day 2

Lima

City tour Lima. Our tour will take you through Lima in its 3 historical periods: Pre-hispanic, Colonial and Modern. We will first show you a panoramic view of “La Huaca Pucllana” and then you will visit the impressive Historical Downtown of Lima, ending with a visit to the residential and financial district of San Isidro and an unforgettable view of the Pacific Ocean from the district of Miraflores.

Day 3

Lima / Arequipa

Transfer to the airport to take the regular flight to Arequipa. In the afternoon, sightseeing tour including the Santa Catalina Convent, Plaza de Armas, the Jesuit Church of La Compañía and its beautifully painted Chapel, the Church of San Francisco, the San Lazaro District, Selva Alegre and the typical Districts of Cayma and Yanahuara for a magnificent view of the Misti Volcano. Return to the hotel.

Day 4

Arequipa / Colca

After breakfast, departure by land on your excursion towards the Colca Valley driving across Pampa Cañahuas at the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, habitat of herds of Vicuñas and stopping at the Mirador de los Andes, the Crater of Chucura, the Mirador de Chivay, where beautiful pre-Columbian terraces still being cultivated by native Collaguas can be observed.

Day 5

Colca / Arequipa

Early in the morning, departure to the "Condor's Cross" from where the great Andean bird, the Condor, may be spotted flying in circles above still farmed green pre-Hispanic terraces. Enjoy the impressive panorama of the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the World (3,180 mts.). Afternoon after short rest, return to the City of Arequipa, arriving at 18:00hrs approximately.

Day 6

Arequipa / Cusco

Transfer to the airport to take the regular flight to Cusco Today in the afternoon, you will be visiting the archaeological and religious attractions: The Cathedral, Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, PucaPucara and Tambomachay.

Day 7

Cusco / Urubamba

Guided excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will visit Awanakancha (Textile Centre), the picturesque traditional Pisac market and the Ollantaytambo fortress, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasion from jungle-based tribes.

Day 8

Urubamba / Machu Picchu / Cusco

The day starts with an early morning rise to transfer to the Ollanta Train Station for a train journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, also known as "The Lost City of the Incas", one of the best known examples of surviving Inca architecture. Declared a UNESCO “World Heritage Site” and one of the “Seven Wonders of the World,” guided tour included.

Day 9

Cusco / ….

09:00hrs Check out Transfer to the airport to take the regular flight to Lima.
