Itineraries

Day 1

... / Lima

Arrival to Lima, reception and transfer to select Hotel. Overnight. Check in 15:00hrs.

Day 2

Lima / Arequipa

Transfer to the airport to take the regular flight to Arequipa. Arrival, reception and transfer to the select hotel. In the afternoon, visit Arequipa city. We will start the excursion with an escape to the past, walking through the Monastery Santa Catalina, Arequipa’s Main Square and the traditional town of Yanahuara.

Day 3

Arequipa / Colca Canyon

We will head out at 8:30 a.m. to Colca Valley, traveling through the scenic villages of Yura, Pampa de Arrieros, Pampa Cañahuas, Vizcachani, and Tojra. The trip continues through Chuccura and Patapampa, visiting an observation deck for viewing area volcanoes. Arrive to Chivay. Overnight. At around 13:30, we will arrive in the picturesque village of Chivay, where you will have a chance.

Day 4

Colca Canyon / Puno

Departing at approximately 6:15 a.m. to visit Cruz del Condor observation plaza. Here, you can appreciate the depth of Colca Canyon, which is more than twice as deep as the Grand Canyon. From this site, you should also be able to sight majestic condors in their natural habitat. Afternoon transfer to the city of Puno via private transportation and with a guide.

Day 5

Puno

At 06.40hrs we take a two-hour motor boat excursion on the waters of Lake Titicaca to the unique Floating "Islands" of the Uros and Taquile Island, inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives who have developed efficient and unique social systems, as well as fine hand weaving techniques, down through the generations.

Day 6

Puno – Cusco

Early in the morning, we will drive to the bus station for a ride to the city of Cusco. During this journey, we will visit the church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas, Raqchi archeological site and ruins of Pukara. Once we arrive in Cusco, you will be transferred to your selected hotel.

Day 7

Cusco

In the morning, exclusive tour of the city that begins with a visit to the San Pedro Market , where we will know more closely the local products, Koricancha Convent and Santo Domingo Church. Continue to San Blas, the neighborhood of artisans, the Main Square to visit the Cathedral, Pisco Museum. In the afternoon, visit San Cristobal Square and Four nearby ruins like Sacsayhuaman.

Day 8

Cusco / Urubamba

Guided excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will visit Awanakancha (Textile Centre), the picturesque traditional Pisac market and Ollantaytambo fortress, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasion from jungle-based tribes.

Day 9

Urubamba / Machu Picchu / Cusco

The day starts with an early morning rise to transfer to the Ollanta Train Station for a train journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, also known as "The Lost City of the Incas", one of the best known examples of surviving Inca architecture. Guided tour included.
