Itineraries

Day 1

... / Lima

Arrival to Lima, reception and transfer to select Hotel. Overnight. Check in 15:00hrs.

Day 2

Lima

City tour Lima. Our tour will take you through Lima in its 3 historical periods: Pre-hispanic, Colonial and Modern. We will first show you a panoramic view of “La Huaca Pucllana” and then you will visit the impressive Historical Downtown of Lima, ending with a visit to the residential and financial district of San Isidro and an unforgettable view of the Pacific Ocean from the district of Miraflores.

Days 3

Lima / Paracas

Early int the morning, transfer to the bus station to take the regular bus to Paracas. The way takes 4 hours. 15:00hrs Check in. We will visit the Paracas National Reserve that is a huge protected area located southwest of the city of Pisco. The name of this beautiful place is derived from a Quechua word meaning “sand rain” probably due to the strong winds that hit the evenings here.

Day 4

Paracas / Ica / Nazca

In the morning, visit the Ballestas Islands. It is a vibrant and colorful wildlife sanctuary that is filled with wild birds and mammals, including sea lions, fur seals, and endangered Humboldt penguins. At the end, transfer to Nazca. We will stop in Ica to visit an industrial warehouse where the grape brandy known as pisco, the Regional Museum of Ica and Huacachina Lagoon.

Day 5

Nazca / Arequipa

Transfer to the airport to Flight over Nazca Lines. The Nazca lines are located in the Pampas de Jumana in the Nazca desert. At proper time, transfer to the bus station to take the regular bus to Arequipa. The way takes 10 hours. Arrival, reception and transfer to the select hotel.

Day 6

Arequipa

Free day to enjoy the City on your own. Overnight

Day 7

Arequipa / Colca

Departure by land on your excursion towards the Colca Valley driving across Pampa Cañahuas at the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, habitat of herds of Vicuñas and stopping at the Mirador de los Andes, the Crater of Chucura, the Mirador de Chivay, where beautiful pre-Columbian terraces still being cultivated by native Collaguas can be observed.

Day 8

Colca / Arequipa

Departure to the "Condor's Cross" from where the great Andean bird, the Condor, may be spotted flying in circles above still farmed green pre-Hispanic terraces. Enjoy the impressive panorama of the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the World (3,180 mts.). Afternoon after short rest, return to the City of Arequipa, arriving at 18:00hrs approximately.

Day 9

Arequipa / Puno

Transfer to the airport to take the regular flight to Juliaca. Arrival, transfer to Puno. On the way, we will visit Sillustani. We observe the typical flora and rural scenes of this area.

Day 10

Puno

Excursion on the waters of Lake Titicaca to the unique Floating "Islands" of the Uros, continue our motorboat trip to Taquile Island, inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives who have developed efficient and unique social systems, as well as fine hand weaving techniques, down through the generations.

Day 11

Puno – Cusco

Early in the morning, we will drive to the bus station for a ride to the city of Cusco. During this journey, we will visit the church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas, Raqchi archeological site and the archeological ruins of Pukara, which is noted for its pyramid.

Day 12

Cusco

In the afternoon, you will be visiting the archaeological and religious attractions: The Cathedral, Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, PucaPucara and Tambomachay.

Day 13

Cusco – Machu Picchu - Cusco

Transfer to the Train Station for a train journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, also known as "The Lost City of the Incas", one of the best-known examples of surviving Inca architecture. Guided tour included.
