Itineraries

Day 1

... / Lima

Arrival to Lima, reception and transfer to select Hotel. Overnight. Check in 15:00hrs.

Day 2

Lima

City tour Lima. Our tour will take you through Lima in its 3 historical periods: Pre-hispanic, Colonial and Modern. We will first show you a panoramic view of “La Huaca Pucllana” and then you will visit the impressive Historical Downtown of Lima, ending with a visit to the residential and financial district of San Isidro and an unforgettable view of the Pacific Ocean from the district of Miraflores.

Day 3

Lima / Puerto Maldonado

Transfer to the airport to take the regular flight to Puerto Maldonado. Transfer by boat to the Refugio Amazonas Lodge. Upon arrival, the lodge manager will welcome you and brief you with important navigation and security tips. We will be out at the river's edge at night, scanning the shores with headlamps and flashlights to catch the red gleams of reflection from caiman eyes.

Day 4

Puerto Maldonado

Oxbow Lake Visit: We will paddle around the lake on a canoe or a catamaran, looking for lakeside wildlife. Canopy Tower: approximately a thirty minute walk from Refugio Amazonas leads to the 25 meter scaffolding canopy tower. Ethno botanical: Tour along this trail we will find a variety of plants and trees that are used by the local population with at least the same variety of purposes.

Day 5

Puerto Maldonado / Cusco

Return to Puerto Maldonado by boat. Transfer Puerto Maldonado Headquarters to airport, we retrace our river and road journey back to Puerto Maldonado, our office and the airport, for your flight to Cusco. Arrival, reception and transfer to select hotel.

Day 6

Cusco

Today in the afternoon, you will be visiting the archaeological and religious attractions: The Cathedral, Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, PucaPucara and Tambomachay.

Day 7

Cusco / Machu Picchu / Cusco

The day starts with an early morning rise to transfer to the Ollanta Train Station for a train journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, also known as "The Lost City of the Incas", one of the best known examples of surviving Inca architecture. Declared a UNESCO “World Heritage Site” and one of the “Seven Wonders of the World,” guided tour included.

Day 8

Cusco / Puno

Transfer to the Bus Station to take the regular Bus Inkaexpress to Puno. On the way we will visit: Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, La Raya and Pucará Museum. 5:00 pm - Arrival (Puno) - 3800 meters of altitude. Bus Station of Puno. Transfer to the hotel in Puno

Day 9

Puno

Sail the waters of Lake Titicaca. Early in the morning, you will start an excursion to the highest lake in the world. The tour includes a visit to Uros Island and Taquile Island. Gifted with several hills and harbouring archaeological sites, the island’s main activity are textiles (hand works of art) representing scenes of everyday life. Return to Puno.

Day 10

Puno / ….

Check out: 11:00hrs. At proper time transfer to the airport to take your flight to Lima.
